Winter can drag on and on, so it is nice to take a break from the doldrums and inject a little color into your home at Valentine's Day. For a simple art project that you can even involve your kids in, purchase a canvas, colored Post-Its, stickers, decals, and heirloom snippets to create one-of-a-kind Valentine's art that can be left up all year long. Use a pencil to outline the heart shape, then apply double-stick tape to the back of the Post-Its and fill in the shape, creating layers of color. Embellish the heart with stickers and/or paper ephemera for a unique art installation that will tug at your heart strings!
