Petrified Pots...

I am always on the hunt for new ideas, and this past summer I thought the new orange plant pots I bought for my walkway could transition easily to Halloween decorating. I found the pots at HOMEGOODS for a great deal and simply filled them with black plant stones (I filled the pot with crumpled newspaper first).  Then I turned to my favorite plastic spiders from Michael's craft store and some Krylon fusion spray paint in white and sprayed the spiders so they would spookily 'pop' off the rocks. The result is a great knee-high-level decorative statement that looks great on the steps or lining a front walkway.

  1. I received my Halloween Spooktacular issue yesterday and got nothing done the rest of the day. I enjoyed all the wonderful ideas, recipes, fabulous photography, and the templates that took me back to my youth. I can't wait to use some of these ideas for our Halloween party for the church kids. Thanks for making my day!

  2. Love my Halloween spooktacular issue. I've already made the "monster eye donuts" for my grandson and great nephews sleepover last night. Thanks for all the great ideas.
