New Ideas...

I spent some time last fall gathering some inexpensive flea market finds to create a miniature table-top cemetery.  I began with a vintage silverplate serving tray with intricate edging that seemed a bit like elaborate Victorian fencing. I then used pea stone and reindeer moss to create pathways and berms to add a landscape quality. To complete the effect, I added items like pewter salt and pepper shakers, candlesticks, old finials, miniature busts, and small urns. I placed small twigs and dead weeds amongst the stones and VOILA:  A miniature and tote-able cemetery to enliven a dining or coffee table! Find all of the details in the POLTERGEIST PARTY story in my new book MATTHEW MEAD HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR.
