Get Ready for Halloween with Matthew Mead's Spooktacular!

Matthew Mead's Halloween Spooktacular - Your resource for a very spooky Halloween!

I've been on a summer break from blogging... but not a break from creating.  In the last few months we've polished and printed Halloween (this post heralds our new Halloween banner), styled, photographed and perfectly packaged every little bit of our Christmas issue and are now happily working on our spring book titled BACKYARD LIVING. As always I've enjoyed meeting lots of new friends and especially experiencing new interiors and all the inspiring style ideas that our new acquaintances have had to share.

This year's Halloween book is filled with fresh ideas for decorating and entertaining. Lots and lots of easy craft projects, recycling ideas with items you already own and the most inventive ways of working with chalk and dressing up your dog for Halloween. There are new recipes, ways to haunt your house, devilish fun decorating donuts and all the "why didn't I think of that?" design moments that we have become known for.

Follow along in the next few months as we unveil lots of our Halloween ideas right here on the blog as well as give away some fun prizes we've devised with some of our contributors.  We are looking forward to experiencing every little bit of the fall season and hope that much of it we will share with you. Check out our new Halloween book at http://www.amazon.com/Matthew-Meads-Halloween-Spooktacular-Mead/dp/0848734556, it ships on August 13th... now how SPOOKTACULAR is that?
