Where Women (and men!) Create....

Accolades from readers and other editors in the business is a heartwarming thing.  I consider myself an artist, which means I think I can be ultra-sensitive and also amazingly euphoric based on how well projects are received.  It can sometimes be a roller coaster ride, but ultimately I am devoted to my work and passionate about every last detail and every single reader that picks up my books and magazines.
It is with pure gratefulness that I share with you that the magazine (and brainchild of the very
talented Jo Packham)  Where Women Create is featuring me in their summer issue under their section titled, "The Men Who Have Made It."

As you might guess, it is an esteemed honor to not only be featured among many creative and talented artists, but also to have reached a level of success that a magazine devoted to woman's accomplishments would include me as a story.  I am honored and blessed, and to put the "icing on the cake" have the added bonus of my picture on the cover!  I have done this work for 20 years, yet this is the first time my face has appeared on the cover of a magazine... so it is exceedingly thrilling.

You can find a copy on the newstand with my "mug" staring back at you in the next few weeks.  Inside, I share my studio, my process, and a bit on how I have spent the last twenty years.  In the meantime, I just want to share with all of you that I am always grateful for your support, welcome a dialogue with you all, and hope to meet you in the aisle of the flea market or farm stand in the coming year.
