Classical Finds...

I've always been drawn to classical design, and in our upcoming  Flea Market Finds book we have a whole story called GREEK REVIVAL, which is filled with classical accessories that we found for very little money at the flea market. Urns are a passion of mine and I've collected many styles in all different shapes and sizes, mostly for gardening. The urn pictured here came from one of my very favorite junk shops. Made from cast plaster with figural relief around the middle, it was likely used in a floral shop as a display or in a department store. I like it displayed with vintage pieces of alabaster and a brass casting of a face. For different events, I line the inside of an urn with a glass cylinder and fill it with greens or flowers.
