All Bottled Up...

Jars, glasses, bottles are all on my list of items to cull from the flea market. I love things with lids the most, because they can always be used to hold modern day supplies. These bottles once held prescription medications.  I found the whole collection for $1 dollar a piece.

After a thorough cleaning I filled them with gift tags and party place cards from my talented friend Deborah Norton at Vintage Paper Parade. They are the most perfect little containers!

Flea Market Finds with Matthew Mead is available for order via Amazon.com and Amazon.ca .

  2. I too have a love of jars in all sizes. Found some of the large size- from old restaurant supplies- this weekend. One is filled with granola, one with steel cut oats and one with small antique christmas trees. Still have 5 more...

  3. I LOVE these jars, what a lucky find for you !!! I will be pre-ordering my copy of your book today.

  4. Great jars! I also love collecting jars and other containers. It's hard for me to pass up anything that can be re-used or retrofitted for storage or display.

You can never have enough storage and such pretty ones, I adore them!

  6. One of my favorites, is using old canning jars for whole grains, beans and dried fruits. I love your new collection! I will be on the lookout for old medicine bottles now. Love your blog!
