  2. Happy Thursday! I'm loving the cover! I grew up going to Flea Markets with my dad. Now I am trying to get my own children into it. I enjoy the search for unique items for my home & classroom, and my kids enjoy eating boiled peanuts while walking around with me and the hubby at the market! It's a WIN-WIN situation! Best Wishes! 16. I love the fresh colors of the cover---so spring-like! I've been on the hunt for an afordable vintage dress form to use as a part of my display, and the old tin types. And I'll never get tired of ironstone pieces and antique/vintage jewelry.

  17. Picking one favorite find is a bit tough...there have been so many that have served us so well! We have a large suitcase that houses all of our games. It's from a boot manufacturer in Tennessee, so I imagine it was used to cart around samples. I think I'll pick that as my favorite because we have a great time every time we open it. It always results in fun with the kids, and we never get tired of that.

  18. Once upon a time (and so it always begins) I was peaking under tables in Minnesota. Red & white stripes caught my eye. I soon walked away with 5 rolled up flag banners, attached to wood that would have hung from ceiling beams. Very early banners...likely once hung in celebration. I now celebrated my $30 purchase...they will be keepers at our 1857 farm.

  20. My favorite find, ever, was a child's size Morris chair with turned spindles, carved arms, and casters on the bottom of the legs. A good friend made beautiful cushions for it out of deep forest green mohair and it is a prized possession. You see, it was under a vendor's table obscured by all but the most snoopy of customers....me! I can't tell you how many times that day, as I lugged it around, I was asked where I found it!

  27. Love the springy colors on the magazine cover Matthew, great styling! Lots of favorite flea market finds but two that still make my heart go pitter patter are my little green child's chair and my large wooden band box that I scored inexpensively by being at the right place at the right time. Always the thrill of the hunt and the finding of the unexpected when shopping at flea markets. If I am not picked as the winner I will be buying my copy as soon as it hits the newstands!

  28. The cover is AMAZING! LOVE the colors...so fresh and inspiring! I have so many favorite flea market finds, it's hard to pick, but here goes. I found the most incredible French pale yellow metal bread box! It's oval in shape with a hinged lid. To die for! It was sitting on the floor of this woman's booth, kind of out of the way. My eyes zeroed in on it and I almost started screaming with joy! I was afraid she'd tell me it wasn't for sale, but instead she told me she couldn't believe she still had it! Not for long! It was MINE, but not for long! My daughter went nuts over it, so after I held on to it for a year, storing my make up in it, I gave it to her for her birthday and she keeps jewelry in it. Gosh, I miss that piece!

I had an antique shop so had a chance to garner many treasures through the years....hated selling every single thing!! Love the cover---the colors are MY colors and have been even when they lost favor for a long time. You are major talented.
