An artist gives back...and a holiday shopping incentive!!

One of our talented friends and advertisers, Crystal B., wrote to us about her cousin who operates a small factory in Honduras that employs local craftsmen and artisans who had lost their employment following the devastation caused by Hurricane Mitch. This small factory put these craftsmen to work creating products made from sustainable wood, including trees felled in hurricanes.

Crystal's cousin named this business Give Back Products because the majority of profits from the sale of Give Back Products remain in Central America and are used to further environmental and humanitarian efforts in that region. Says Crystal, "A large portion of the funds from 100 products sold buys a wood-burning stove, water purification system, and gardening supplies for a specific family. They also receive education in these areas to improve their living conditions as well."

If you are looking for the kind of gift that gives back this holiday season, head on over to their website  (where they also offer free shipping!) to check out their beautiful wood products and read more about their efforts. And, as a special offering to Matthew's friends and readers, you will receive a 25% discount by simply entering this discount code when you check out: matthewmead.
