I've got a confession to make.
Although I've been at my wit's end, I have never been happier. It is true...I thrive in chaos with lots of balls in the air and me diving like a volleyball player to save each and everyone from landing with a dull thud on the soft sand. We have almost finished shooting our new product line which has been so much fun: a truly interesting and nice learning experience. The first issues of AUTUMN have gone in the mail and our Christmas issue begins printing today. I am shooting a story on mantel decorating for the holidays, finished up a few stories for Lowe's home centers and am happily working on Thanksgiving. We have also begun to organize our Flea Market Vintage issue and will announce in the next week how you can become (or nominate someone to be) a STYLE LUMINARY and how we will help create a platform for some very talented people within the pages of the magazine. We will be meeting Stefanie from Brooklyn Limestone in Brimfield (New England's premier flea market) to begin shooting a story on her for the spring issue. And all of this while also trying to capture the last bits of summer and all the beauty of Autumn in season for next year.
So, what helps keep me so happy? My wife, my amazing team, and all of the readers who continue to reach out and share their talents and devotion to the magazine. That outpouring truly "makes my day."
