Our 1999 mini-van, sans seats, is usually called into action to support photo shoots in inclement weather.  It is like the mail truck, delivering goods no matter what Mother Nature throws our way.  This weekend we piled it high with cases of HOLIDAY and delivered issues to friends who own shops in the New England area.

It was kind of like an ice cream truck for home and lifestyle aficionados - a vehicle carrying a sweet treat that is special because of its season and timing.  I thoroughly enjoy getting out and seeing the shop keepers, many of them friends, supporters, features, and prop loaners from projects in the past.
It is awash with color and stories and a fresh way with tradition.  We have many enthralled blog readers who have ordered and are waiting on pins and needles to get their copies.  I assure you, that unless you just ordered, your copies are en route to you as you read this. All single issues (foreign and domestic) as well as case lots were mailed last week.  Readers in our "neck of the woods" have been receiving issues since Friday, so the ones that stretch out over the country and beyond are on their way.

My hope is to prepare a seasonal magazine for the coming months - the next issue being summer and filling it with all the ideas and inspirations that you have come to expect from the Matthew Mead brand.  Indeed, it would be a treat to create four beautiful, inspirational issues a year, filled with cooking and entertaining, decorating and craft ideas just for you and yours.  That is something I shall pond as these short winter days lead me into daydreams of my future with all of you.

Please look for HOLIDAY IN THE COMING WEEKS. It is safely on its way to your door and I hope it provides you hours of joyful contentment as you curl up and enjoy a good read.

Holiday with Matthew Mead is sold only via this website.
Have you ordered your copy yet?
