HOLIDAY Marketplace...Part Two!

Thanks for stopping by and browsing our HOLIDAY marketplace. Today we are featuring some more of the wonderful advertisers who can be found in our sidebar and/or in the magazine. They are a talented bunch and their shops are providing wonderful gift ideas for some lucky recipients on your list!

Frankly My Own, the shop owned by Lisa Renauld - one of Matthew's creative and hard-working in-house designers - hosts one of the must-have items on Linda's list of what to buy for her daughter's upcoming birthday party.
  Aren't these cupcake servers adorable?

Lisa also hand-painted the colorful gnome Claire Nielson is holding in the Smeeks feature on page 121 of HOLIDAY:

Sarah Egge, our Senior Writer also has some favourite picks she would like to share. They are:
Vintage Paper Parade is an Etsy shop known for its whimsical, stylish paper goods with a modern twist for children’s birthdays, baby and bridal showers. Vintage Paper Parade’s custom designs are handcrafted in a Toronto studio by artist Debra Norton and most can be personalized. Sarah's favourite?

Says Sarah, "I can never have enough Thank You cards. And I am crazy about anything with owls on it (my daughter’s nickname is “Hootie”).
Vintage Paper Parade would like to offer HOLIDAY readers a 25% discount until December 1st
(Cannot be combined with other discounts or apply to shipping.)
Simply mention Holiday with Matthew Mead at Message to Seller when checking out.

Also on Sarah's list of favourite shops is Barn Owl Primitives, an Etsy shop which sells custom painted signs. For those who love typography, this shop is for you! Sarah has her eye on this  Christmas Typography Word Art Sign:
Says Sarah, "I love holiday decorations that aren’t clich√©, and this typography sign of all the hymn names is perfect!

Because Sarah has two young daughters, she is especially fond of the whimsical art and creative pieces found in the Etsy shop, Winborg Designs.   Sarah loves the Playmates Lamp, though she admits she could buy any one of these playful, artistic lamps. Their cheerful designs make her happy!

Sarah also wishes she could pop into From Out of The Woods Antiques Shop, in  Goffstown, New Hampshire. Long a favourite of Matthew's, it is on Sarah's list of places to visit when she finally gets the chance to visit Matthew's studio. Having just moved into a charming home one year ago, Sarah is still searching for the perfect furniture pieces for her new home. She shares, "One my wish list for the house is anything entertaining related. I’ve been looking for a china plate rack to spiff up a corner of my dining room."

The Rusted Chain is a shop that specializes in unique hand-stamped jewelry. A bit organic, a bit glamorous... completely meaningful. Says owner and designer Beki Hastings, "Our designs are loved by 'real' women like you and me, and celebrities like Deanna Daughtry (wife of artist Chris Daughtry) and Bachelorette Trista Sutter, and actress Candace Cameron Bure. Our jewelry is made up of those 'go-to' pieces that you grab time and time again."
Linda, who already owns a Rusted Chain original, has this piece in mind for a special someone on her shopping list:

Another great business we recommend is Style Your Life, and online personal shopping and styling service, run by owner/stylist Jennifer. Of particular benefit at this time of year, when most of us have some sort of special event to attend, is Jennifer's Winter Look Book: A downloadable book/resource which will guide you as you choose your holiday style essentials including: Party Attire/ Cocktail, Casual Attire, Family Photo Inspirations, Outerwear Options, Gift ideas for, him, her and the little ones too. It also contains holiday home decor ideas including holiday entry, centerpiece and porch inspiration.

Also on our list of favourites is Dish 'n' Chips, a fantastic shop specializing in one of a kind, functional decorative items hand-crafted using vintage china. Jenny is wishfully eyeing the prehnite and glass necklace:
