But we are of a different mind: we believe that lifting the veil on something truly beautiful simply makes you want it more. We have been working so hard (and continue to do so) creating a magazine that we hope you will love and cherish and add to your collection of holiday favourites that you tuck away each January, only to bring back out each November. We want you to see something new each time you open the cover and peruse the pages over and over - and we won't settle for good enough.
And you shouldn't either.
Please join us as we unveil our work in progress and we hope this sneak peek will inspire you to reserve your copy now and keep it from year to year.

house tours excited me! I love house tours
ReplyDeleteI'm MOST excited about decorating! I saw some blues and greens. Just my style! Also the Nielson's. Love them.
ReplyDeleteWell, that was a crazy effective way to finally kick start me into buying it...I've been meaning to for some time now! What a treat to think about Christmas on this 100-degree day!
ReplyDeleteFYI...the menu above on this page says $14.95; the one on the final page says $15.95. I'm fine with the price difference, but you may wish to correct for future shoppers.
I am a complete sucker for a photo of Christmas cookies. I have to buy any holiday magazine that features them. I love baking Christmas cookies and find it inspiring to see beautiful collections of traditional holiday cookies displayed so creatively. I liked the way the tinsel garland was packed in with the cookies in the video. My daughter and I are RUCHE fans as well.
ReplyDeleteI'd love ideas about how to put the recipes, decor, etc. into practice as family traditions that add meaning to the Christmas season! Can't wait for November 1st...
ReplyDeleteI loved the image of what I think were lady fingers covered in chocolate and nuts...they looked delicous!
ReplyDeleteI have had my copy reserved for some time now and I'm anxiously awaiting the magazine. I love the holiday cookies and hope it will encourage me to get back to the holiday baking that I used to do. But the home decor looks very exciting also!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the gift ideas that I can use for friends and family. Love, Love, Love ♥♥♥ all the pictures and even though it's 104 here it sure got me in the festive mood♥
ReplyDeleteI love to keep my Christmas mags from year to year~ I get them out in the summer when I am off work, just to dream. I love the entertainment peek and I always love the decorating.
ReplyDeleteI disire my home, especially at Christmas, to hold within it, the voice of my heart.
Just as the seashell holds within it, the voice of the ocean.
I feel your magazine will help me achieve that!
Lezlee
I am excited for great recipes!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I can hardly wait for November 1st! I am already in Holiday planning mode, gifts are being pre-wrapped, ornaments crafted decorations created, displays planned, this year I will be ready!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Tammy

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the Christmas baking! Loved all the images of cookies!
ReplyDeleteLove the video! Here's what I would LOVE to see...I've worked catalog before and know what goes into a photo shoot to get those sweet photos...perhaps do a little tutorial for your readers that will help them prep for a 12 days of Christmas photo shoot of their own - make THEM into the (semi)pro!!! What a great gift to give your readers...and see what they can come up with...give them tips on lighting, props, camera settings, etc...you know the drill! CANNOT WAIT!!!

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to decorating gifts and entertaining. Really like the vintage and would love to see more GREEN crafts. We have downsized and no longer celebrate in our home...just no room! SO we travel to our kids who live in another town and stay in a hotel. So I'd love to see more "travel" ideas for entertaining out of the home...like table decorations and gifts that I can bring to my families home or even a restaurant. Like cones to hang on chairs and banners that would pack small and travel well. ALSO...we play a lot of family games and would like some more Christmas/Holiday games besides "Christmas with the rights" you know...the poem that you read while passing out small gifts and where ever the poem ends is the gift you keep. Or another version of swap party games/gifts. One year we had a contest on the most creatively wrapped gift and drew names and put a price limit on the gift...it was awesome ;) Another year I make pj bags out of Christmas fabrics and stuffed them with flannel pj's for the entire family and THEN made everyone go to the mall and take a picture with out pj's on. There was a lot of grumbling...but it is the most talked about Christmas memory. It's really hard with all grown-ups and not grand-babies as yet!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to post this on my facebook page ;)
Fondly, Roberta
