We are looking to really ramp up the heirloom quality of HOLIDAY with Matthew Mead. Those of you who own the original Holiday issue (2006) know it contains a pound cake recipe that is delicious beyond words. And that is our goal for the upcoming issue - to present recipes that are fresh, easy, rooted in tradition, but also tasty and memorable.
So, we are now looking for your very favorite holiday cookie recipes, those really delicious treats that you wait a whole year to create and savor and share. We will select ten recipes from the submissions, and publish and print them with the authors name and blog address (if applicable).
Here is an idea of what we are looking for:
Tasty, attractive and fairly simple recipes with easy to find ingredients.
A mix of approaches to baking including drop, cut outs, filled, rolled cookies, etc.
Memorable flavors and flavor combinations such as a mix of spices, the use of lemon zest, a sprinkling of poppy seeds.
We are looking for the delicious factor... not cookies that are heavily iced or decorated. We are trying to capture a true eating experience
RULES FOR SUBMISSION:
You must be at least 18 years old to enter.
Recipes must be your own original recipe.
You must grant HOLIDAY with Matthew Mead rights to publish your recipe in HOLIDAY with Matthew Mead, and/or on its website, blog, and any other published material in printed and electronic media, in existing or not yet existing formats for now and eternity.
We will send a release to be signed and returned should your recipe be chosen and included in the 2010 issue of HOLIDAY with Matthew Mead or featured on our blog.
Only cookie recipes that are sent to the email address below will be considered.
