Although we are kicking off the countdown to the holidays a teensy bit early (okay, we are understating that), we can't create a Holiday 2010 magazine in real time, now can we? As many of you know, there is a good six-month lead time when creating a new magazine. So, Matthew is used to listening to Christmas music in July while testing cookie recipes and painting Easter eggs while pumpkins cast toothy grins his way.

As we plan the pages, shoot the features and weave the stories, we are also thinking of how we can include YOU, the reader in our Holiday issue. And that is what we are setting out to do with Holiday with Matthew Mead.
